I've been on the fediverse since 2014. I've used this name, however, since 2015. I'm old enough a user I still call it GNUSocial. Jaccob Applebaum, before he went dark following a smeer campaign, was old enough a user to call it StatusNET.

Fediverse has expanded so much since, and the interlinking is quite beautiful.

Well they're not ALL monsters. That thoughtform leads down the road to being more like this evil twunt!

>"The class struggle, to which Marx has specially drawn attention, is a real factor, the tokens of which are to be found on every page of history. But the struggle is not confined only to two classes: the proletariat and the capitalist; it occurs between an infinite number of groups with different interests, and above all between the elites contending for power. The existence of these groups may vary in duration, they may be based on permanent or more or less temporary characteristics. In the most savage peoples, and perhaps in all, sex determines two of these groups. The oppression of which the proletariat complains, or had cause to complain of, is as nothing in comparison with that which the women of the Australian aborigines suffer. Characteristics to a greater or lesser degree real-nationality, religion, race, language, etc.-may give rise to these groups. In our own day the struggle of the Czechs and the Germans in Bohemia is more intense than that of the proletariat and the capitalists in England."(14)

Pareto's understanding of Marxism as just using muh workers as a strategy to engage in a circulation of the elites so that ambitious and aspiring elites locked out of government can attain positions in government is basically the final say on that movement as far as i'm concerned. it is both what Pareto predicted would happen, and also what actually happened

OR-- and hear me out here-- certain entities let their TDS overwhelm them to the point where they didn't mind a shitload of auxiliary innocent deaths as long as Trump looked stupid for a few minutes. sciencemag.org/news/2021/01/ma

Well that was fast... Science Mag trying to walk back criticisms of hydroxychloroquine. It's disgusting that democrats would rather kill Americans than allow Trump to provide helpful information to the citizens. Scum
