Sometimes I get flashes of the condensed pain I've felt in these past two years. Of the career I've lost, of the future I lost, of the experiences I lost. The soon-to-be two trips to Japan I've missed out on. The culmination of 10 years of career toil that may never see fruit again. Watching my parents slide into a retirement they weren't ready for and didn't want, but were forced into due to injection mandates. Their grudging and bitter acceptance of my financial and physical help. The friends I lost contact with. The brothers I haven't seen in years, and the funerals of my grandmother and one of my uncles I could never go to. The knowledge that this all could have been averted if normalfags weren't such cowards as to give up years of their lives in order to avoid the common cold.

In those flashes I realize just who was principled enough to make the same sacrifices and feel the same sorrows that I have and continue to make. I realize the types of people that once fully backed everything I did, but suddenly cow to a government they still outwardly hate - but somehow completely trust when it comes to one very specific topic. The types that just want to go back to 2019 when they could pretend they were able to give up everything to rebel against the powers that be, but now are "tired of hearing about this" or "are for the injections but against the mandates" and just happily gobble up their pharma injections and pretend they've suffered.

I feel less than pity.
