Frank is right to give a bit of perspective. Our current situation with medicalising every aspect of childhood and puberty, every anxiety, fear, feeling or discomfort a child has, has been decades in the making.
Parents have been trained to reach for the pills or surgery, to cope with normal childhood development. I don't blame them, its coercion led by Big Pharma and billionaire Transhumanists.
By the way, long before "trans" we had "Attention Deficit Syndrome ", I never believed in that either.
And the majority of kids with aspergers diagnosis are probably also victims of this over-medicalisation.
