Maybe it's fake news. 5G has been running here for months. No one knows when it was turned on but the antennae in this neighbourhood are located on top of a tall seniors' building.

Branding as in they're just pushing it as a concept. I keep seeing ads. No benefits or features mentioned

@arzachel I hate the way writers conflate 5g (the modulation technology) with the new frequency bands it uses. You can use 5g on old 2100 or 1800... And it's all fine.
