@arzachel People on stupidpol were laughing at how this Harvard idiot wasn't considering on how slashing such tires is a terrible idea (probably dangerous) and also it wouldn't help moving them after...
Ya caint have a clue about somethin you never interact with. Like semi tires
@Fullmetal4456 @GinNig @arzachel pretty much

Also considering that these has to hold about a few tons, yeah
Common sense implies a common expirience. Sense comes from expirience and understanding. But yeah, if you think about it for 2 seconds, it makes sense.

But, to go back to expirience, they've never heard a tire burst. Probably have never dealt with anything more than "oh, I ran over a nail". They hear "slash a tire" and think it's like fabric
@GinNig @arzachel @coolboymew
I used to work at a yard, and one of the truck tires exploded. It sounded like a bomb went off. A few of the ex-military guys had full on ptsd breakdowns.
If the expansion/movement of air was above 300m (or is it feet?) per second upon release, it literally exploded (that's the technical difference between a flamable and explosive when you have a fuel source, just my little tism there). So yeah, you had a less fiery and shrapnel-y bomb. Absolutely FUCK whoevers ears were right next to that thing!

You remember the bit a few years back about the liberal pansy who fired an ar? "It was load, like a bomb!", yeah, let these guys try slashing a truck tire. Out of my own wickedness and want of schadenfreude, I want a woman to try
@GinNig @arzachel @coolboymew
All I can say is that I was on the opposite side of the yard, and it fucked my ears up a little
Heheheh, yeeeah, there's a reason you stand so far away from even burried exploves. Shockwave will getchya. Shockwaves can collapse your lung from a ways off. Power Rangers make standing next to explosions look cool until you know how loud loud actually is
