@polarisera @arzachel Same thing happened when I was in Thailand in March 2020. Almost from the moment I arrived, everyone was wearing masks and there were 1000's of homemade ones on the street for $1.

It was as though the whole country - or at least the two big cities I was in - was instantly brainwashed into thinking a flop of fabric would protect them, rather than the Buddha they had counted on for centuries.

Like everywhere else, temples were soon completely closed to the public, even the outdoor areas.

Thailand is still counting 'deaths' and 'cases' like every other bought in country. Sad.
@polarisera @arzachel I arrived March 2, 2020. I had already figured out that there was another bogus virus 'on the loose', lol, before leaving or I would not have gone.

Everything that happened in Thailand while I was there, and the Cdn gov reaction confirmed it was a big lie. However the panic was incredibly contagious and I couldn't contain my anxiety. Had to return at the best opportunity only a month later instead of staying three months as I'd planned.

Imagine the anxiety of those who believe it is all true. How do they live with themselves?
@polarisera @arzachel I'm no mathematician but even before there was any data at all, I knew that the shots were insanity itself.
