That was a really good read. I've often asked people "How many climate change papers have you read?" when they go on about climate change. I remember digging through the IPCC papers and they are unbearable. You'll see seven citations over an introductory sentence saying heat is bad and can kill people, citing studies on the lack of air conditioners in Arizona leading to more elderly heatstroke.
