The supplement NAC is given via IV to treat Tylenol toxicity. N acetylcysteine was under attack by the FDA during covid. There was some evidence that taking it prevented infection or harsh symptoms or something. They were considering making it prescription only because hospitals used it iv. Made no sense to me. I still take it from the early covid days.

@Zennagain glutathione too (though NAC is more upstream, helping the body to produce glutathione, iirc)
